Today I came across a press release from an orthopedic surgeon in which he discusses "BlackBerry Thumb," or thumb/hand/wrist strain due to constant typing on mobile devices or other tiny keyboards. It gave me a good chuckle so I thought I'd share.

Yesterday, Microsoft subsidiary Tellme launched an upgraded version of its mobile search application that lets Research In Motion (RIM) BlackBerry users speak into their phones to search the Web for information, maps, driving directions and more via Redmond's Live Search services.

I recently purchased a BlackBerry 8320 Curve from T-Mobile, and of all the device's features, I have one clear favorite: Wi-Fi. More specifically, I love its voice-over-Wi-Fi (VoWi-Fi), or voice over wireless local area networks (VoWLAN), functionality.

Rumors surrounding Research In Motion's (RIM) next BlackBerry smartphone have been circulating throughout the Web and the blogosphere for months now. First, we heard the device could include a touch screen and 3G capability. Then a newly-uncovered RIM patent got bloggers speculating about a device with a slider keyboard. The list goes on.

Research In Motion (RIM) on Tuesday announced that the Facebook for BlackBerry application had reached the one million download mark. Though the company recently targeted consumers with its Pearl and Curve smartphones, the BlackBerry is king in the enterprise, and the news suggests a growing percentage of corporate users are poking their Facebook Friends, uploading images and writing on Walls with their business phones.
