What would be a great job for someone who is an IT Audit manager at a big four (PwC, Deloitte, KPMG, E&Y)? I am not a manager but I will be some day. I just want to know more or less what the future can be for me if I stay in IT Audit. Thanks
Some of these types of tasks (e.g. IT audits) are becoming automated. That's because many of the audit reports generated are general in nature and can be done using rules based document assembly.
As long as you can be sure that you're adding value to any firm that you consult to and are helping them solve their specific problems, you'll always be in demand as a consultant.
