Hi, Can any one post an info or article on what the industry IT needs in general, like a market interlligence
For example, what % of organizations use SOA, CRM, Microsoft vs IBM etc.

This is a pretty generic question. IT needs one basic thing: to enable the ever changing business processes that implement the current strategies, which lead to the always constant issue of alignment with business.
Since every business has its own strategy and priorities, IT needs are spread all over.
Here and there you can spot some "trends" of buzzwords that catch people's attention for sometime.
Most of them you can spot by following the major IT magazines.
